We recently came across this post (don’t ask what we were doing on Facebook) from a misguided friend, let’s call him “Alan”.
He was lamenting the fact that he had just finished an epic deuce and was faced with a roll of toilet paper that was, well, a bit skinny. We get it, Alan. We’ve all been there. But do we really want to live like every square is our last to “save our trees”!?
No, there’s a better way.
Using Buttwipes is a much more environmentally friendly option than using toilet paper. Toilet paper is a product that due to its shortcomings is often used in excess, leading to a lot of waste. It’s dry, so it doesn’t “clean” so much as…spread. Buttwipes, on the other hand, are a much more efficient and effective way to clean up after using the restroom. It’s like having a mini-shower in wipe form!
Buttwipes are wet, which means they clean much better than toilet paper. You don't need to use nearly as much paper to get the same level of cleanliness as you would with toilet paper. This means that you can use much less paper overall, leading to a much smaller environmental footprint.
Another advantage of Buttwipes is that they don't have a wasteful cardboard roll like toilet paper does. Buttwipes, on the other hand, come in a resealable package that can be reused multiple times then recycled.
Finally, using all that toilet paper is tantamount to flushing trees down the toilet. Toilet paper is made from trees, and using so much of it is a huge waste of a valuable natural resource. Buttwipes are also paper-based, but they are much more efficient and effective at cleaning up after using the restroom. This means that you can get the same level of cleanliness with much less paper, leading to a much smaller environmental footprint. (Greta would be proud).
In conclusion, using Buttwipes is a much more environmentally friendly option than using toilet paper. Buttwipes are wet, so they clean much better than toilet paper, meaning you can use much less paper overall. They also don't have a wasteful cardboard roll like toilet paper does, and they are much more efficient and effective at cleaning up after using the restroom. All of these factors combine to make Buttwipes a much more environmentally friendly option than toilet paper. So, next time you’re in the bathroom, don’t be like Alan and reach for the toilet paper. Reach for the Buttwipes instead! All of the cleanliness (and then some), none of the guilt (if you ever had any...you monster).
